Living Room:  Are you uncomfortable sharing your mental health struggles with your church family? Many of us are. The church should be a safe place to look for help, but sadly has often misunderstood those battling mood disorders such as anxiety, bipolar, or depression.  Now there is a safe place where you can talk about the challenges you face in your day to day life, and also share your vision and understanding of how God enters into and works in your life. Come and join us at the Living Room, a faith-based support group for people living with mood disorders. We meet twice a month on Mondays from 2:00pm to 3:30pm at Rouge Valley Mennonite Church, 7452 Reesor Road, Markham. For more information contact Pastor Liz at Rouge Valley via email: liz@rvmc.ca or call 905-294-6242. Living Room website: www.livingroomsupport.org

February& March:  Exploring Great Prayers from the Old Testament

Did you know that the Bible is full of prayers, and not just in the Psalms? We will explore prayers by Moses, Hannah, David, Solomon, Ezra, and others - prayers of joy and lament, prayers that show the depth of human experience and the grace of God who hears and responds.

Led by Bryan Moyer Suderman

April, May & June:  Buffalo Shout, Salmon Cry:  Conversations on Creation, Land Justice, and Life Together.  Edited by Steve Heinrichs

Led by Rene de Vries & Arnold Neufeldt-Fast  Please contact Arnold to purchase a copy of the book.
