MYF Harvest Supper Fundraiser:  The MYF would like to invite everyone to our annual Harvest Supper fundraiser at Wideman Mennonite Church on Friday, October 25 at 6:00 pm. Funds will be used to support MYF activities, including a service project being planned for March 2014. Come and bring your friends!

 

Christmas Show and Sale at Wideman:  There will be a Christmas Show and Sale at Wideman Mennonite Church on Saturday, November 16th,from 9-2pm.  Please email Milissa Fortier at milissaifortier@rogers.blackberry.net if you are interested in getting a table.  Please respond by November 9th.

Open House at the New 50 Kent :  November 9, 3-5 pm, 50 Kent Avenue, Kitchener.  Join us directly after our day at Rockway Mennonite for an Open House at the NEW 50 Kent. Saturday, November 16, 2013 - Ed Janzen, Chaplain at Conrad Grebel University College will be hosting a one day workshop in leading in worship. Whether you say a welcome and pray, song lead or scripture read, story tell, or preach it from the pulpit, this will exploring how our study of God's Word goes hand in hand with why and how we worship.  Mark your calendars!

Following is a summary of our General Donations as of September 30th.  While we are slightly ahead of last year, our target for the year has increased by $4,000 so we are somewhat behind where we would like to be at this point.

Grebel 50th and TMTC Reception Monday, October 21, 2013 at 5:00 pm at Wycliffe College Sheridan Hall, 5 Hoskin Avenue.  Did you miss the 50th anniversary celebrations at Grebel this summer? Come out and meet your friends from Grebel days who live in the GTA. John Rempel will be on hand to bring a brief update on his leadership of the Toronto Mennonite Theological Centre.
